COVID-19 2020-05-18T12:55:54+01:00

We can offer physical appointment to patient requiring care from Wednesday 20th May subject to the following guidelines.

The clinic will be open at reduced hours so please call/email or book online.

Pre-appointment questionnaire:

  1. Have you had: a high temperature and/or a new, continuous cough?
  2. Have you been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

If you answer yes to either of the above we will be unable to physically see you in the clinic. Government advice is for self-isolation for 14 days. We can offer a virtual consultation.

If you have:

A high temperature

And/or a new, continuous cough

Please do not attend the clinic and inform us of the situation.

What we are doing to ensure patient and staff safety

We have implemented various strategies to protect our patients and staff in line with government recommendations.

Pre-treatment screening – we will be screening every patient prior to their appointment to ensure they are not showing symptoms of COVID

Appointment frequency – we will ensure appointments are spread through our shifts to prevent patients meeting in the clinic. We ask that patients attend on time and if running late to call to ensure the clinic is empty of other patients before entering.

Reception Staff – to protect our staff we will not have any receptionists present in the clinic

Personal Protective Equipment – Our Chiropractors will be wearing full PPE as required by PHE and the UK government

Sanitising Station – We have set up a sanitising station on entry to the clinic where we ask ALL patients to sanitise and be wary to avoid touching any surfaces in the clinic unnecessarily.

Treatment rooms – We will be working between two rooms. This will allow us time to disinfect the treatment room and allow our practitioner to safely change any PPE that is required.

We will ask all patients to sign a COVID-19 consent form to ensure you are aware of the potential risks.

  • I understand that there is a risk of transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) as a result of attending the clinic and/or receiving treatment.
  • I understand that The Guildford Spine Centre cannot accept responsibility for transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) should I become infected.

Please bear with us as we adapt to these changes. We will do our very best to see every patient who needs us whilst following the safety advice.

Stay safe
